How to top-up your account with Coins

A good friend of mine Nathz asked me yesterday on how to top-up his account with Coins so that he can start trading. So instead of teaching him one on one, why not make a guide instead?

Disclaimer: Again, I am not connected with Coins.ph in any way and I am not promoting their website. How I wish they would pay me for the traffic I am generating for them. haha!

Anyways, let’s move forward with the guide:

STEP ONE: Registration

First we need to create an account with Coins.ph through their website. For you guys that are done with creating an account, please proceed to the next step.

coinsweb1.JPG

But before clicking on the “GET STARTED” button, you can just use my referral link provided below so that you can get PHP 50.00 into your account for free! That means that you get 50 pesos for just clicking my link and following the ID verification process.

Why am I so pushy with this link? Well because Astrid (my friend) who introduced this to me forget to mention that there was a referral link that needs to be used in order to get the free fifty pesos from her. Me being fast in looking for the website, clicked on the GET STARTED button without any further questions, without the code and without the fifty pesos credited into my account! DO NOT MAKE THIS SAME MISTAKE! HAHA!

REFERRAL LINK: https://app.coins.ph/welcome/invite/igtoei

After you click on the provided link, you will see this picture provided above. With a picture of my Facebook profile (how convenient) LOL.

Anyhow, just fill-up the required fields and you are good to go. You will receive a code through your email/phone number provided and just follow the next instructions. I would suggest using your computer/laptop in creating an account with Coins as this is easier, well for me it is.

What about a mobile App? Yes they do have that too! This is the screenshot I just took now with my phone using the App Store to search for their application. Sorry for not having an Android screenshot as we all are using iPhones in our home.

STEP TWO: Trust and Verification

Yes, they call it “Trust and Verification” and I know perfectly well why they named the verification tab that way. It is because you will be providing sensitive information through the internet to have your account validated.

coinsweb3.JPG

On the upper right hand corner of your account you can see your email. Click on that and you will be provided with a drop down box with the selections showed above. Click on “Limits and Verifications” (which I honestly think is a typo). Anyhow, once you click on that you will then be redirected to the Trust and Verification page.

coinsweb4.JPG

Just complete the steps below and you will be good to go! I would suggest to have a phone app when trying to submit the Selfie Verification stage as this is what I did. Just download the App and do the “Selfie Verification” part there.

Question: Do I need to finish all these nonsense verification process just to top up?

Answer: NO, definitely not. The only reason why you need to verify your account completely is for you to withdraw your money in the future. As you can see Level 1 only gives you the right to top up a maximum of PHP 2,000 every day and no daily cash-out. That’s crazy! Get at least a Level 2 then you are good to go.

My verification as you can see with the screenshots are still in progress, hope you get them verified soon!

STEP THREE: TOPPING UP with 7/11

coinweb5.JPG

On your account page (pc/laptop), you can always see these tabs above shown in the screenshot. Click the “Cash In” tab and you will be redirected to the top up page shown below:

coinsweb5.JPG

You actually have a handful of options to choose from. But I am going to teach you how to top up through 7/11 today as this is what I have tried.

Go on, click on the 7/11 box.

coinsweb6.JPG

Type in the amount you want to Top Up. Minimum top up is PHP 20.00 and maximum for a Level 1 account would be PHP 2,000. So just choose any amount between 20-2,000 and the website will automatically compute the payment method fee for you.

Once decided on the amount you want to top up, click on the “Next step” box. Which is conveniently coloured blue.

You will then receive a text message on your phone just like what I am showing to you below:

18745182_1747826838566177_764263908_o.jpg

You will be given seven (7) hours to go to the nearest 7-Eleven store to complete the transaction. You do not need to go to the load kiosk just approach the cashier and just show the text message you received from NXSMS which I am showing below:

18720748_1747826725232855_42575559_o.jpg

The cashier will then do their magic and ask for the amount you owe them. Mine was PHP 510.00 for a 500 peso top up.

So I showed her the first message saying that I need to make a 7-connect payment. She punched in some numbers and I got a text right afterwards confirming the PHP 500.00 top up.

All good? Awesome! I hope this guide helps. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to leave a comment below.

Again, my free PHP 50.00 referral link is: https://app.coins.ph/welcome/invite/igtoei

Buenas Noches!

Coins.ph

Disclaimer: I am not paid to write good reviews on the website (coins.ph) mentioned above. I am not whatsoever connected to Coins.ph. I created this blog today as I found this website interesting as well as to document my Bitcoin investment.

So what is Coins.ph? And why did I purchase Bitcoins through them?

Coins.ph is one of many websites out there today that can act as a third party website to pay for online transactions. The cool thing about this website is it is by our own. If you haven’t noticed, the website ends with a .ph on it. That means that this website is local, and of course cater to local payments.

Digital wallets are great! You can pay for everything you want to buy online. One great example would be PayPal. I have been using PayPal for so many years now! Receiving and making payments online was a breeze! The only catch is that you cannot pay local bills with PayPal.

This is where a local digital wallet would be great! This is where Coins.ph would come in. The purpose on why I registered with them would be to buy Bitcoins and not pay bills with my account.

After I failed in using Astrid’s referral link, I browsed the website and found out that they do more than just selling Bitcoins, they actually have a purpose!

c1.JPG

Buy Load – This is the first tab that I checked out just to make sure that the networks were local and not something that cannot be used on our end. So here it is below, you can use your PHP Wallet to purchase Globe, TM, Sun Mobile, Smart or TNT mobile top ups!

You can even start your own loading business with what you earn with your Bitcoin trading! haha! (exact details on charges are yet to be explored by me) Not to mention, you get 5% back on each load transfer. Any rebates are good in my book.

c1.2.JPG

Pay Bills – Now it gets interesting! Aside from loading your mobile phones, you can actually pay your bills through Coins.ph! And this really got me excited! I haven’t been looking into local digital wallets recently but these websites didn’t existed the last time I checked. Now? It’s gotten a whole lot better.

c2.JPG

Yet another rebate! Who doesn’t like that? Please be advised that your area might not be available yet as of this moment in time. So as you can see, the screenshot provided above shows the “Bill Type” which is Utilities and below that would be the Company Name.

c3.jpg

As if this moment under Utilities you can choose from Cotabato Light, Davao Light, Iloilo Electric Cooperative Inc., Laguna Water, Subic Water, VECO, Manila Water, Maynilad and Meralco Kuryente Load. A guide on how to pay bills can be seen here.

c4.jpg

This awesome website that I found out about today can be also be used to pay other bills as shown on the screenshot above. You have Credit Card payments, Bayad Center, Broadband, SSS Contributions and more!

To wrap it all up, I just want to clarify that paying bills can be done with your PHP Wallet and not your BTC Wallet. Why do I find this relevant? It’s because you can simply convert your hard earned BTC (Bitcoin) into real cash and pay your bills through their website. Or you can use their website for just simply BTC trade or as a digital wallet, it’s your call.

I can explain everything until tomorrow but I think this is enough for now. I will let you explore the website yourself so that you may know what I am talking about.

This is why I decided to purchase Bitcoins from them as the website can be used in many other ways than just staring at your Bitcoin value going up.

If you do have any questions regarding any of my posts, please do leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible. And of course! If you do want to get a referral bonus, please click on this link and follow the instructions.

Disclaimer: I am not paid to write good reviews on the website (coins.ph) mentioned above. I am not whatsoever connected to Coins.ph. I created this blog today as I found this website interesting as well as to document my Bitcoin investment.

This would be my very first post for this website. So let me just introduce myself first. My name is Paulo and I got interested with Bitcoins when this went viral a few years ago. Way back then 1 bitcoin was dirt cheap, now? 1 bitcoin is equivalent to PHP133,000! Now tell me that ain’t interesting?

My friend posted something regarding how Bitcoins are going crazy in the market today which led me to go rush into the nearest 7-Eleven Store and purchased a PHP500.00 top up.

So what am I going to do with the PHP500.00 top up? Well I already purchased Bitcoins with the money and lets see what we get from it. My plan is to work the the 500 peso investment and try to make something out of it.

I just want to set proper expectation to my readers:

  • This would be my very first blog (Please be merciful)
  • I have no idea if this Bitcoin thing would succeed or not. So it would be fun to see if this really works or not, with me blindly going into this venture without any knowledge of trading.
  • I am not connected with Coins.ph in anyway as of this moment. I did however contacted them regarding this and asked for any affiliate programs. (still no reply tho)

2.53pm.JPG

This screenshot above was taken at around 2:53 pm today. This was the exact time I purchased Bitcoins and as you can see, my 500 pesos only got me php434.43. That’s normal because I was buying at that time and the value you are seeing now would be the selling price.

As I was switching from Facebook and WordPress, I decided to check back on my account. And this is what I saw as of 3:18 pm today.

321.JPG

My initial investment went up around 7 pesos. Not bad! But we all know that it is common knowledge that when it comes to trading, values would always spike from high to low. That is why I plan to give an update on a daily basis regarding this interesting new find.

I will post separate articles regarding on what website I invested in and give out tutorials on how to register and get your free PHP 50.00 into your account.

Will be back tomorrow for updates regarding my investment!
